CWNA holds a Chilifest in winter. rummage sales Potluck picnic and an Ice Cream Social is in spring or summer. The following items cannot be placed in the dumpster:
Tires
Construction debris (lumber, concrete, dirt)
Building Materials (roofing, drywall, tiles, paint, etc.)
Hazardous Waste (paint thinner, pesticides, used motor oil, etc.)
Large Appliances (refrigerators, stoves, washers, etc.)
Yard Waste (tree branches, brush, leaves, grass, and garden debris)
Electronics (TV's, stereos, computers, printers, DVD players, etc.).
These items, except hazardous waste, can be taken to Drop Off Centers at 3879 W. Lincoln or 6660 N Industrial Rd. Fees may apply.
Summer Picnic
Join us for a Pot-Luck picnic by the boat house.
Part of Hampshire will be closed off at 5:00pm and food set-up starts at 5:30. Dinner is at 6:00pm.
Bring the kids, some chairs, and a dish to share!

Ice Cream Social and Musical Entertainment
Join us for ice-cream treats! We’ll meet outside the boat-house.
Part of Hampshire will be closed off at 5:30. A variety of ice cream bars, including Dairy-free, will be available at 6:00. If you are able, bring a chair. Music by Craig Siemsen starting around 6:30!

Riverkeepers Spring Clean up Event
Riverkeepers Cleanup Registration
The registration for the Milwaukee Riverkeepers Spring Cleanup is open.
The clean up is Saturday, April 26nd from 9am to 12p. Our site is called "Cambridge Woods Cleanup" which is the trail access at Cambridge and Providence.
Location: Oak Leaf Trail Access, Cambridge Ave. & Providence Ave.
Winter Chilifest
Chilifest is a cozy winter tradition where we gather at the Urban Ecology Center 1500 Park Ave, lower level Community Room and eat delicious chilis made by our members.
